Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by billz. (Thanks, Bill!)

Up close and personal with a rather eroded statue. Thanks for the theme! Tony

Actually, I think it means that your subject should fill the frame (fill the view), not that the image needs to be framed. I have a new camera and and lens due in the next few days. I finally have the full frame sensor body that I've been lusting after for years. I'll see what I can too about filling that frame as soon as I get it.

I finally have the full frame sensor body preeb You are going to love it! Amazing IQ. Look forward to some photos from it! Clive I am excited about it. I've not been really unhappy with my Canon 60D, but there are limitations with the small sensor, especially for landscape shooting, which is really my preferred genre. The new one is a Canon 6d Mark II, and because my current wide angle lenses won't work on it, I also ordered a 17-40 f4 to go with my other 2 full frame lenses (70-200 f4 and 100mm f2.8 macro) that will fit.

My interest in abstract photography was stimulated using ICM - intentional camera motion

Up close and personal with a rather eroded statue. Thanks for the theme! Tony Tony, you nailed it! Perfect example of the "Fill the Frame" composition technique. I love how you captured all the details on the "rather eroded" statue. Another job well done (as usual)! I noticed you did a square crop, another one of billz ’s theme suggestions. Great idea!

Potted lilies from a greenhouse waiting for spring so they can be planted ... Clive, bold colors, amazing details, and . . . close to your subject (filling the frame). Great job!

Hi preeb, I'll see what I can come up with. Actually, I think it means that your subject should fill the frame (fill the view), not that the image needs to be framed. Yes that is another interpretation "Fill the Frame", with no further explanation, can equally mean a natural or man-made frame. For me, filling a camera frame shot is very much easier to produce, so I went with natural or man-made and not camera frame.

My interest in abstract photography was stimulated using ICM - intentional camera motion Pete, great way to "Fill the Frame" -- abstract photography! Beautiful! I really like it.
BTW, this image would also be perfect for WPC #159. The theme (suggested by kdcintx ) was Artistically Blurred Photo.
