When I try to change the color of a keyword icon using the "Edit" selection, the color picker shows NO color! It shows all the information, but no color! A couple of attempts at reinstall, including trying to remove anything that has Adobe in the file name, yielded the same result. Is this a known bug?

Hi Charles,
I don't really know what is going on. I also have PSE 2019 but I don't have this problem. michelb , our in-house Organizer guru, is better qualified to get to the bottom of this issue.
I just have a question to get the ball running. Are these keyword tags generated through the Face/People Recognition feature?

Sorry, I can't help... First because I don't have your issue... but I have another one; I can select whichever color but PSE2019 on my Win 10 refuses to change anything with an error message . Then I don't understand the purpose of this color change. In what circumstances would this color scheme help when displaying or searching visually given categories? Do you want to use it on 'normal' keywords, or on people or locations tags?

First, Sepiana, these keywords are the default ones. I had some issues with where Adobe wants to put catalogs. I then remembered that it is really best to not mess with default locations. So, I had not spent a large amount of time doing some keywords. I had added a couple of sub-categories and thought color would be nice. Second, Michelb, just to add some color to help find things. Like one of my keywords is "Nature", would be nice if it were green! Over in the Editor, the Color Picker(Selection Color) works as advertised. Note to Sepiana, I have enjoyed your Mark Twain quote many times! A cartoonist likes it too! See it here! www.gocomics.com/brain-squirts/2019/05/13

Well, after searching awhile on Adobe webpages, found place to contact and have a chat with eventually a tech person, I learned that this is a known bug and that they are working on it. So, whenever they get if fixed in some future update, just wait. Thanks for the help, in any case. I do appreciate that!

This information will undoubtedly benefit users of Organizer 2019. Your contribution is truly appreciated.
And here is something interesting. Earlier today I decided to test changing the color of a keyword icon and . . . guess what happened. The color would NOT change and, to make things worse, it caused the Organizer to crash.
Now to another subject . . .
Very pleased to hear that. Yes, I saw it. Three's company!

Hi, again, after almost one year, and d/l of latest versions, I still see no change in this "bug". Guess I didn't get to the right person at Adobe. So it goes. Thanks,

Hi, again, after almost one year, and d/l of latest versions, I still see no change in this "bug". Hi Charles, thanks for keeping us posted! It has been my experience with Adobe (since Elements 4) that they don't acknowledge a bug until they have enough evidence. Also, they don't do piecemeal bug fixing; they tend to release one single update tackling several bugs at the same time. Adobe has been known to release patches or, I should say, updates in between versions to address such issues as bugs. If it is a widespread issue, i.e., a severe one, to the point of crippling Elements, Adobe will release patches/updates in between versions to address it. If the issue is not a "critical" one, they tend to hold on and fix it with the release of the next version of Elements.
