Tom, This is what I did. click on upload via postimage.org>navigated to photo>clicked the upload>when it finished the upload info was in comments box>copied the info and pasted in the url box>got a message it must start with http and finish with jpg>so deleted prior to the http and info after jpg. and repasted to the url box> it put it in my gallery and it looks like what you see in my gallery. It's a mess!!! Dean Thank you very much Dean; using your information my experience was identical to yours; yuck! I experimented with it for a while, and finally found a solution (though not a pretty one). So here goes: In your gallery, click the Add Image button Click the Upload via postimage.org button Browse to the image on your computer and click OpenChoose the resize you like (I used 800x600), then click Upload it!At this point you have a string inserted in the comment field similar to this one: Leave it there, but copy & paste this part of that string into the image URL field: http://s14.postimg.org/tkw0jbvvx/Grung_Flower.jpg You must delete the s14. (N.B. it isn't always s14, I saw s27, s16, s2, etc). This was a very valuable exercise, as we learned how another piece of the system behaves. Hopefully we will find a way to accomplish this task without such machinations.

There is now an FAQ for this; take a look and see if it reads well for you. Oh, I see you are struggling a bit with the quote function. Others have mentioned they were having trouble with it, so I made the border of the quote black. With large quotes it is still not obvious, but the reply area is the white area below the quote box.

After many tries I have finally managed to upload an image to my gallery. It inserted a thumbnail of the image which opens to full size when clicked. I am not sure what the little blue box with the ? above my image is, or how to get rid of it, but at least I have achieved what I started to do. At the moment I do not have my own website but will be looking into setting one up to make uploading to the forum easier. This is a screen shot taken after the copy/paste function, just before I clicked add image.

Yes, the little box is still there, even after I reloaded the page.
Helen is working with me via pm to figure this out, so if I add and delete a few posts in the process please forgive me.
Edit. I see the little box on other users galleries too. I wonder if this is a Safari thing?

I believe it has to do with the browser you are using. Internet Explorer and Chrome will show this little circle; Firefox will show neither a box nor a circle. I am using IE11.

(I am suspecting it may stem from the code generated by the postimage button).

Hi Tom, The latest one I did via cube upload, and it shows full size in my browser with no funny boxes. Now I am trying to figure out how to post a clickable thumbnail via Cube Upload, Grrrrrr Cheers Pauline

Seeing different things depending on which browser I use - a box with a cross in it in IE,a square with a little picture & a line across the corner in Chrome, & nothing in Firefox! And not on everyone's gallery pictures. Some people's there's nothing apart from their images.
Strange.

Your experience confirms what I described in an earlier post.

I noted Helen's procedure for adding a picture to my gallery but can't even find where to get my gallery started. Perhaps today's sunshine has fried my brain. agg

Perhaps today's sunshine has fried my brain. agg Hi angelag, and welcome to Photoshop Elements & More! If you Click Home on the main navigation bar, then scroll down to the section titled Images and Creative Techniques, you will see a board named Individual User Gallery. After you click that you should see a button on the right side of the title bar that says Create Gallery. Give that a try, and then if you have further questions we can go from there, OK?
