Notes:
1) Please move if in the wrong place.
2) Until 4 years ago I had hundreds of photos in PhotoShare hosted by my ISP. They also provided webspace. But they were underused and so the ISP closed the PhotoShare and web services. (They gave us a few months to save the images and webpages.) And I've never really establish a new image gallery system other than FB.
Regardung imgbb, I looked online including YouTube for answers and was not enlightened. This is about all I found about imgbb.
"imgbb is an anonymous image hosting site that you can use if you want to share images on forums and message boards"
I am missing something (probably simple) in imgbb. There are 453 images in my whole collection, not all photos/graphics that I've shared here. I mainly use imgbb as a random storage site behind the scenes. They do not reduce IQ which is good.
There are three albums in my account and they contain 3, 2 and zero images. So I guess 448 images are in a vast unorganized abyss. I've no idea if they are public. It seems if I shared an image URL no one would have a clue where my other images are because of the random URL addresses. Like this one I just made up: image.ibb.co/bXT7ks/FILENAME-CAS01642.jpg There is no such URL.
Today, someone asked me to share some photos and there are a few on my imgbb space that I'd like to pass along. (I have a not-up-to-date FB gallery but I do not like how FB messes with IQ. I will pass along a FB link, but I am not thrilled about FB galleries.)
Sooooooooo ... can I create a new "public" album to share? So visitors can view all images in that one album? And will visitors be able to see ONLY photos in that one shared album?
Or should I consider Flickr (I have an account), imgur, ImageShack, Photobucket
etc etc.
Thanks for your insights!
Clive
