Sometime in the past few months I happened upon this group who participate in a photo scavenger hunt. They have just had their 25th hunt (first one for me) where everyone was asked to submit images for a list of specified words, 26 words that followed the alphabet. ie A - acorn all the way to Z - for the letter Z. All the photos are now in and the albums for each letter are being released over the next few weeks. Nearly 3000 photos were entered, and I found it very inspiring to be part of such a large and friendly group. No-one was allowed to share their images while the hunt was on, but there was a lot of friendly banter about the hunt for images and the pitfalls of getting them all in on time. I managed 18 images out of the 26, and as the albums are revealed I'll post them here if anyone is interested in taking a look.

I've browsed a few of the items and would enjoy seeing more. I also will be back to take a more in-depth look. There are some very clever interpretations.
Makes me wonder if your cactus with the glasses was part of this hunt?

Sadly Helen, no. All the entries had to be taken during the start and finishing dates, no old photos allowed. The acorn in my gallery was an image I played around with for the hunt, but not my eventual entry for the word.
