The birds were performing, but I still need to get closer as these were cropped quite a lot. I won't be home for a few days and will look around here.

I always enjoy your photos - your subject matter really appeals to me and your photography skills are awesome.
BTW - Don't you just love how different the female looks in so many of the bird species. But the strangest is that male Goldfinches change to yellow in the summer. For some reason, it took me almost a year of watching them to realize that the males were not yellow in the winter. I just kept wondering where the yellow ones went all winter. LOL

But the strangest is that male Goldfinches change to yellow in the summer. Janice, that's funny because I've never seen them in winter colors...only yellow. When they show up here, they are all yellow and leave all yellow. Saw one the other day at the summer place. So pretty. Clive |
