Now that's one handsome dude right there. Good Job What camera and lens if you don't mind me asking and did you kinda stage the perch and shot or is it all Mother Nature at work? It is great either way.

No staging Dick, all mother nature. This was shot using Canon 7d Mk11 with a EF400mm f/5.6L USM lens at ISO 400 F8

Excellent capture of detail. That is a colorful bird of a type that I am not familiar with; I don't see them around here.

Reg - another outstanding photo. Isn't he a pretty thing!!
I used to get a visit from a male each Spring when we lived up north - just a short visit. Then I had to wait until the next year.
