Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week’s theme is about taking two shots -- one shot capturing the subject going away from your camera and the other shot capturing the subject coming towards your camera. You have some leeway; they can be two different subjects. Grab your camera and go . . . but don’t forget to come back to this thread!

It's your call Sepiana but I feel 2 separate shots is too restrictive and too easy. Perhaps leave it up to the members if they prefer 1 or 2 shots. For example, with Dennis' photo, a pair of feet going up the stairs and another pair going down the stairs in the one photo would also make a very interesting image. I think you'll get a larger range of interesting submissions if you allow members to be creative by looking for scenes where "Coming & Going" can be captured in a single shot as well. But if someone finds a situation where 2 shots produces a better result for them, that is fine I'll leave it up to you since this is your thread. Just some food for thought. |

Thanks for this challenge, Sepiana. Like blackmutt said - I need to think about this one. Anyway, here are 2 images that reflect my daily going and coming. Going for a walk Coming home and ready for a drink
kdcintx, I love how you captured your dog’s expression in both images -- the anticipation of a walk and of the reward (drink). Look at those eyes!
