How did you create the presentation in the Organizer?

Hi Ugo, welcome to PSE&M! Glad to have you here.
Would you please give us some more information? Your answers will dictate the direction of the troubleshooting. Thanks in advance!
- Which version of PSE are you using? - Are you on Windows or on a Mac? - Did this happen before? Or is it something that just happened in this specific presentation? - Do you get an error message? - Where are you exporting to? - Are you launching PSE as a standard user or as administrator?

I think you mean you are creating a slideshow (not a presentation) from the organizer and Photoshop Elements (not Premiere Elements which is the video eitor and which is able to create advanced slideshows). I suppose you are using a recent version of Photoshop Elements, which means you have to follow the process from the create menu and to choose the 'slideshow' option. The process is automatic once you have chosen your template and music.
Once you have selected your set of photos or videos, there should be some time to prepare the slideshow, using the Sensei artificial intelligence to analyse all your assets and pepare the creation of the best transitions and effects, such as pan and zoom. I don't include videos in my slideshows, so the creation time is decent for me. Only after this stage, the prepared slideshow is played. You can change the template, music and sort order, include text sildes. Once the presentation is played, it is saved as a 'project' file (.pse) which includes pointers to all your assets and the 'recipe' of the creation. Your slideshow can be played directly afterwards from this project file on your computer. Or, generally, you can output a video (mp4 format) to be played on many other devices.
This is what you should expect. If that's not the case, we'll need more information. May I suggest that you try a much smaller slideshow including photos and videos to verify if that works better?

Your thread title says you are making the "presentation" from the Organiser.
When I select Create slideshow or video in the Organiser, my Premiere Elements launches.
I use Premiere Elements quite a lot to make videos including video clips, photos and audio.
But I use PRE directly, not through the Organiser.
If your PRE is also launched then this is fairly easy to fix, but Sepiana usually sends members with PRE issues to the Adobe forums.
Is Premiere Elements launched when you start a new "presentation"?
