The young Northern Cardinals are starting to show up in my back yard again. This was shot on June 01/15
And with Father's day just around the corner, I thought you may enjoy this father feeding his young

You guys make me keep my bird pictures out of the public eye; excellent imaging.  The adult and juvenile is interesting. We have probably two Cardinals to one of anything else; and, now that you have brought it to mind, I don't remember ever getting a look at a young one, and I am outside all the time. Thanks. |

Very nice picture. I have a lot of Cardinals around and I do notice the males do a lot of the feeding to the young.
