Seen a colour you like on a webpage? Here's how to get the same colour into Elements.
You will have to minimise PSE so you can see it and the webpage at the same time. Click on the foreground/background colour picker and then click once on your page in PSE and drag the color picker tool onto the webpage colour you want. When you release the mouse that colour will now be your new foreground/background colour.
With thanks to TonyW who taught me that trick over at EV.

Thanks for this great tip. I've wanted to do that numerous times and didn't know how.

Yes, it's a brilliant way to pick a particular / matching colour. Great that you mentioned it, Bayla May I just add to what Bayla said and that is to note that, as you move the colour picker over an area while the mouse button is still held down, ie before releasing when you get your colour, you can see the colour you will get in the 'black and white squares (forgotten what they're called - the foreground and background squares). This is very useful when on a variably shaded area as it can help you get closer to the shade you are wanting. Hope that makes sense It is late here now so brain is about gone awol! Julie

Great tips Bayla and Julie, thank you for sharing and reminding me of this possibility (which somehow I had all forgotten about!).
