Yesterday I went to see Chicago, the band. Outside, in Ottawa. The presentator mentioned that they never missed touring for a single year, in the last… 52 years. A lot of grey hair in the assistance, and a few on the stage, among some of the original members. With a new signer from Montreal, Canada (I had to say). A nonstop concert for an hour and a half, with all the hits. A great show.

Never heard of them, I'm afraid.
It is amazing though, how some groups have stood the test of time, and are still as popular as they ever were.

I have several of their albums. Timeless classics. Did you get any photos of the band?

Did you get any photos of the band? I went as an ordinary quidam. I did not bring my camera.

Never heard of them, I'm afraid. They were a popular rock band in the 70s, with a big fat bass, various keyboards and the fuzzy weeping electric lead guitar of the time (as my mother would have said, sounding as if one was stepping on the cat’s tail). Talented musicians offering sophisticated arrangements, including harmonies in the signing parts. What was making the band special though was that it included a brass section (sax/transverse flute, trombone and trumpet) around which many of the compositions were articulated. The trumpet player, trombone player and keyboard player were the three original members in the show, presented sold out, as part of the Ottawa Jazz Festival. It is amazing though, how some groups have stood the test of time, and are still as popular as they ever were. Yep. Also a lasting successful business.
