Using twirl action as one layer blended with one bloom

Hi Peter,
The colours compliment each other really well.
Not being into abstract art/photography, I am wondering though, if the image could be improved a little if the flower popped a bit more from the background twirl.
For me, the flower blends too much with the background and so loses a little impact. If the flower popped a bit more, it should also add some depth to the image. Because the flower and background blend together so much, the image looks a little flat to me.
The flow of colours from the twirls looks nice.
Just my 2c worth of food for though from someone not really into abstract anything.

I understand - Tried a slightly different approach with the twirl and a larger bunch of the same flower........

I think they are both great. I thought the first was an orchid. But they are freesia, aren't they.
Gorgeous perfume.

Hi again Peter,
Since my previous post, did you saturate and/or darken the colours a bit in your OP's image?
In any case I think your 2 images are heading in the right direction now.
Abstract "anything" is not my strong point, so I'll leave it to others to suggest any ideas they might have.
