This one is one of my favourites from the photos I took last weekend because it also shows the crest of the wave in front of the surfer (across the bottom edge of the image) which acts as a bit of a foreground. It also shows fairly clearly the height of the waves compared to the surfer. My guess is 2-3m waves.
With minimal cropping I was also able to place the surfer's head on the top-left corner of a rule-of-thirds grid.
