Fantastic edits with last week's waterfall.....so what will you do with this? Forgot to mention that the picture is from Pixabay!

Fantastic image Helen. Thanks for this challenge. I thought I'd try the 'block fill' that we tried recently in the CE challenge. I think if I were to critique my own page I'd say - 'room for improvement'. Cobbles from English Town kit by Craftscapes.

Very effective, Lillias. Would that be classed as abstract?
@ Helen. I know one thing I am going to do with it.

That's quite a departure from your style, Lillias, and extremely well done. Love it. Whippet, I would certainly call that abstract Rita

Glad you like it, Lillias. It caught my eye as soon as I saw it. Great idea to try the color block effect.....all those linear shapes make it a perfect candidate. Like your color combos. Will be looking forward to seeing your idea for the image, Margaret. michelb.....You have chosen the perfect toning and for this scene. You also seem to have accentuated the depth of the scene. Adding the sandstone texture and subtle frame was a nice finishing touch. Frank.....very clever.....I also like the painting on the wall of the Cafe.....I had to go back and make sure that wasn't in the original.

Love the colors, Helen, reminiscent of Matisse. I'll make an .aco of it.

I should have said color swatch and make them frequently when I like a picture, but usually from famous painters, who know what they are doing. Also from book covers. They give more control than LUT's.

Turned it into a night scene in PSE with light from around the corner on the right highlighting and attracting the cat in the foreground with the cat in the background looking on.
