I have resisted Topaz Studio 2....up until yesterday when I downloaded a trial. I have started watching some videos by Dave Kelly. I found this one about Color Themes especially interesting. |

I have resisted Topaz Studio 2....up until yesterday when I downloaded a trial. Way back when, I started with Topaz Studio and quite liked it. Then quite some time ago I got Topaz Studio 2 but couldn't get into it preferring TS. However Helen you raised my interest again in TS2 and now having looked at some of Dave Kelly's videos I'm way down a rabbit hole exploring all it can do...lol. |

I think Topaz is not updating Studio2 any more? I seem to recall users at the f/b site were pretty upset about it.

I read in a post by a member of the Topaz Community that while TS2 is still being sold it doesn’t appear to be still under active development. Also that it hasn’t seen any significant updates for a long time. A shame really. |

Pat, The last update to Topaz Studio 2 was in March 2021 according to its Changelog. You are absolutely correct. This was discussed on Topaz Labs Community Facebook. |

For me this isn't a problem as I'm happy with it the way it is. The reason I haven't upgraded my computer is that I like the "Old" Impression. Sometimes, new isn't always better. People seem to generally prefer Studio 1. I do wonder if I will be able to purchase it as I'm still in trial mode. Will update this after I try.

i do have The latest Studio 2 and it’s a couple of years old. Can’t say I’ve used it much but having watched a couple of those videos I should give it another go. Topaz seem to be concentrating on their AI programs and dropping the rest. I do still use some of the older ones that are no longer supported. The only issue I’ve run into with some of them is not working properly as plug-ins with PS, PSE and LR. Some open but then won’t go back. They do still work as standalones. I think my favourite is still Adjust which I believe was the first of the Topaz programs.

tonyw I remember when Adjust first came out. It seemed really extreme at the time. We've come a long way since then! LOL
