I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with converting a jpg image, please
Our local branch (Cats Protection) would like some new road signs to direct supporters to our events. A local SignWriter's has agreed to do these but we must send in our Logo for him to include on the signs.
I only have our Logo as JPG. This is what the Signwriter wrote on a piece of paper:
"PDF or Ai or Eps Vector format (illustrator)"
I have PSE 14 but don't think I can do this. I have got the impression this conversion can only be done using Illustrator.
Can anyone let me know how to do this, if no special software is needed (apart from PSE v14)?
Or, would anyone with Illustrator be prepared to do this for me? I can send the jpg by Private message, perhaps?
Many thanks (in anticipation ....) Julie

Julie, PSE is able to convert a .jpg file into a .pdf one. Save changes with a different file format, name, or location (Scroll down to Save a file in Photoshop PDF format.) PSE no longer supports .eps files; this support was dropped back in version 11. However, you could use a workaround. See the suggestions in the thread below. Hopefully they will work for you. Can one save a file as a .EPS in PSE?Last but not least, . . . I have PSE 7 and PSE 10. I am willing to make the conversion for you. If you want to go down this route, please send me a PM and we can discuss the details.

Thanks everyone I've had a few offers to help and so it would seem I've now got my .jpg file as ai and pdf. I've also just had another offer to convert it into .eps. So, all being well, the problem is potentially sorted. If, by any chance, there is still a problem, I'll get back to you on here. Many thanks to you all. I really appreciate all your help Julie

Just to confirm to you all, as I mentioned, due to fantastic response, I was sent the image back as .ai, .eps and pdf. These files were sent to the signwriters and they have been able to use at least one of them. Looking back, I wonder if I could have just saved the jpg as pdf (ie by 'printing to pdf' in the print menu) which is easy enough to do. Does anyone know if this would have sufficed? Many thanks to all. The signs are going to be really good and not too expensive J

Since you said you sent them three different file formats, I think you would need to know from the signwriters which one they were able to use. If they were indeed able to use the pdf. file than I am imagining that would suffice.

They did say .pdf as one of the options so, presumably, it would have been OK to send the one I did save. Probably won't need to do this again, though I'll have to try to find out, if only for general information
