Inspeqtor, here is a sample set made using PMF and add text. (I merged the three separate images for simplicity.) Biggest weakness is limited locations for the text.

fotofrank ... sooooooooooo simple. Thanks. The text just snaps to the same location..and can still be edited if need be. Thanks, Clive

Sepiana, Check for checking on a windows PC, . . . Frank, you are most welcome! Thanks for suggesting this technique! I will definitely be using it. You can click & hold on your text along with the shift key and drag it to your other image. Once your other image is visible and the cursor is on the image just drop it. If your images are the same size the text layer will be in the same location and fully editable.
