Original photo - my own. Butterfly - freepik. Lily of the valley - kisspng. I was pleased with what I did on ON 1. But thought there should perhaps be something else added. In my opinion, I have completely spoiled it by adding the butterfly and flowers. Should I have left well alone - or done something different?

I like the abstract aspect of the framed image. For my taste the flower and butterfly additions detract from the abstract quality.
Possibly blur and enlarge the butterfly and remove the flowers.
If this were my image I'd attempt to blur the original grasses using a color mask. Since the butterfly matches some of the colors I'd move it behind the grasses and slightly blur.

Hi Whippet,
Very nice image. I like it as is but art is very subjective as we all know.
I like the white highlight "spots". They give the image some depth and interest.
Without them the image would look rather flat to me.

Whippet I am not keen on the BF and flowers as well. Your "abstract" is most pleasing. Calming colors. Would hang well in an office setting. Clive

I wouldn't use the flowers or BF. Maybe a different photo with more space for the BF. Sometimes adding your elements and then doing the texture blends things better.

Thank you all for your helpful comments. Adding the extras was an after thought - when I had already flattened it. I have tried doing your other methods, but still prefer them not being on.
