Long-tailed weasel ( Mustela frenata). He/she came by our lot today, took a drink from the bird bath and went next door where it seems to have a den. Was most cooperative. My new lens focuses to 2.4 meters and I was that close. It was curious.

Thanks all. Whippet, the full-frame sensor and new telephoto are working well. Still learning limitations. The best part with the full frame is the ability to take half-decent photos in low light...conditions that'd I'd walk away from before. The image below was shot in evening at ISO 6,400 !! It is not sharp and a bit mushy. But I could never do this before. Oh yeah, and the new 600-mm lens is a bit of alright as well. Clive

Judy: Good one. We need a LOL option as well as the the "thumbs up" to "like" a post. Clive

... Oh yeah, and the new 600-mm lens is a bit of alright as well. ... Yes Clive, a good quality 600mm telephoto lens gives you many more options especially when photographing sports, wildlife or the moon.
