Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by kdcintx . (Thanks, kdcintx!) This is what the Found Treasure theme is all about in kdcintx's own words.

I recently moved and unpacked this stuffed dog which was my mother's (who is 82) favorite child hood toy. i.ibb.co/PQqz6W7/toy.jpg

This was one of my favourite toys, from a long long time ago! It was a stamped metal airplane that wound up with the key, and it would run along the floor, and flip over and continue. It still works! The grandchildren were fascinated with it. i.ibb.co/j8CYQJW/DSC-0875.jpgi.ibb.co/zWgyRRm/DSC-0878.jpg

My mother was presented with this book. She passed it to me when I was very young. As you can see, it has been much read. And is still my treasure.

This is my found treasure for this week - as I and my out-of-date guide try to find our way through the ever-developing industrial outskirts of Sittingbourne to the marshes beyond, I am overjoyed to find a solitary waymark to reassure me that this is indeed the right way. The glorious freedom of walking this isolated area will soon be mine. i.ibb.co/Jz5pkcG/Waymark.jpgBrenda

Great capture -- the perspective, the leading lines inviting the viewer to follow you on your "freedom of walking".

Football season is right around the corner, so I dug out the Green Bay Packers pennant that "graced" the walls of my childhood bedroom. Thanks Sepiana and kdcintx for the theme!

Bill, a Green Bay Packers fan! A simple (uncluttered) composition highlights this jewel. Way to go! I root for the Packers unless . . . they are playing the Chicago Bears or the Buffalo Bills.

I was a boy scout in Edmonton in about 1959 at age 12. Of course, we had boy scout whistles and, back then, they were high quality stainless steel and made in England. For whatever reason I kept this whistle for years and, about 30 years ago, I "found" it (... the first "find" ) and started carrying it on my fly-fishing vest for two reasons. First, it is exceptionally loud and shrill and might come in handy one day should I get hurt or lost. And, secondly, it might scare off a bear, which is rather funny because I know I'd never be able to blow it if a bear was waddling over to see me. Then, two years ago in the summer of 2017, I lost it. We bought a new car in March 2018 and while cleaning the trade-in vehicle, I found it! (Of course, I'd previously torn the vehicle apart a few times looking for it, but could not find it and decided it was lost forever.) Once again, it hangs on my fly-fishing vest and if things work out right, I'll never have to use it.
