A pair of riding horses at the base of Porcupine Hills, Alberta. They might be "pleasure" horses or working ranch horses. September 14.

Well, they're definitely for our pleasure. Like the way you composed your shot.

What a really beautiful picture, Clive. You don't have room for a lodger at your house, do you? (Plus 3 well behaved dogs.)

Thanks Lillias and hmca . AH! whippet, any time. Perhaps sans dogs. We are blessed to have open horizons and usually clear skies. The horizon is more cluttered around home with assorted power poles, cell towers and bldgs. Out here at the summer place, it is possible to take photos with little clutter...you have to pay attention and seek out good skylines. (BTW, I cloned out a small section of coral fence in this photo.) Montana (US state) is just below us. Their state license plate slogan is "Big Sky Country." I wish we'd thought of that first. Clive
