Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE This week’s theme was a joint suggestion by dennis9 . (Thanks, Dennis and Brenda!)

And for something completely different from Helen's! Lift locks open too - this one was originally built in 1873 with a lift of 8ft to allow steamboats to navigate between two lakes. The steamboats are long gone but the lock is still well used but no traffic in sight today. Tony

I came across this drink can this afternoon while walking in the park. (I did of course, recycle it after it had starred in my shot.) i.ibb.co/Q9hfLN1/P.jpgDennis

I spotted the folding doors of this vintage bus at the London Transport Depot Open Day today... i.ibb.co/JBFz2vQ/B-Door.jpg…and the door of this antique Underground train. Both can open, but not today. The Public was allowed to admire but not touch these precious veterans. i.ibb.co/3y1px32/T-Door.jpgBrenda

hmca , nicely done on more than one count -- composition, DOF, spot-on focus.

This under-construction cafe will open ... someday. Bill, how did you even see that? You do have a knack for capturing "slices" of urban life. Great finding!
