Skeleton Key with Skeleton - It good to have grand nephews... Frank, very interesting interpretation of "Something That Opens". It is an eerie image with that green glow. Great job!

Unless the weather turns particularly nasty, I'm pretty sure these buds will open soon! AGG Angela, a nicely composed shot with a bokeh effect to die for. I am curious. Which is this flower that blooms at this time of the year? Those buds look so delicate!

whippet , I really like the angle you used to take your shot; we can clearly see the "penstocks" (Something that opens).

I came across this drink can this afternoon while walking in the park. (I did of course, recycle it after it had starred in my shot.) Dennis Dennis, great thinking out of the box -- an unusual "Something that Opens". A simple (uncluttered) composition with the drink can as the focus of attention, the star of your shot.

Apps on a phone are opened. kdcintx, very clever! I really like how you included the human element in your shot. It adds a "personal" touch to it; it is not just "apps".

I spotted the folding doors of this vintage bus at the London Transport Depot Open Day today... …and the door of this antique Underground train. Both can open, but not today. The Public was allowed to admire but not touch these precious veterans. Brenda Brenda, you never cease to surprise me -- you captured not just doors but vintage/antique ones. As usual, another great job!

Which is this flower that blooms at this time of the year? Those buds look so delicate! I don't know the proper name, but it's a sort of wild sweet pea. Lots of flowers still blooming here in the Vancouver (British Columbia) area, but I was surprised to see one in bud. Autumn is announcing its presence, however!
