I see a pot of flowers and as we approach the festive season I'll match it with a shot from a local production of "A Christmas Story" that I got to photograph last week and which has some other interesting things to match - like Mrs Parker and "The Lamp" Tony

That is beautiful, Pete. Wouldn't mind it in my living room. Here is another couch. This one is in the home of James Herriot, which is now a museum. James Herriot the author, was in fact Alf Wight, a vet in the country town of Thirsk, North Yorkshire. His stories were often based on real people. Sister Rose was a nurse, who rescued dogs and cats. She was, in actual fact, Sister Ann Lilly, who had her own rescue charity, and was a dear friend of ours for many years.

I see pictures in ornate frames so here's another one - Le Quai des Grand-Augustins, Paris painted by James Wilson Morrice in 1901. Unfortunately I don't own it but did get to take a picture of it! Tony

A foreign street scene ... I'll match that with some objects obtained while living in Germany The blurred background is a tray I made from German Beer Coasters I collected while living in Bensberg, a small town on the east side of the Rhine from Cologne

There seem to be some liquid vessels on the shelves. These urns/vases were in a shop somewhere in Mexico. February, 2006.
