I see a real wire fence. Note the ramp on the bridge. It was done like that to enable fishermen to carry their gear in wheeled buggies, over the railway to the ponds on the other side.

I see steps .. here are some more leading up to a memorial (built to house the ashes of his wife and later joined by his own)

We are a small island, so our local mountains are not very high.

Here's another fence and a footpath with a British connection - Drakes Bay at Point Reyes, California. Sir Francis Drake and his crew landed here 17 June 1579 named it New Albion and claimed it for Queen Elizabeth I. The cliffs reputably reminded Drake of the white cliffs of Dover. Tony

I can match cliff tops, a fence and the sea. This is a shot taken in Whitby, UK.

EDIT: Ooops. Sorry Sydney, you beat me to the cliffs. Oh well. More cliffs. Could not resist the poster. Cape St. Mary's, Newfoundland, 2006. Gannets breed here by the tens of thousands. One of the great wildlife experiences we have seen. (Also blessed because CSM gets 200 days of fog per year..and it was sunny when we were there.)

@ Sydney - I would have had the kettle on, if I had known you were passing by. More surf breaking against rocks here, at North Gare.
