Peter and Wayne those are some skookum aircraft! Wow. A tad less horsepower here. de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver coming onto Hearne Lake Lodge, Northwest Territories, June 2018. Missed this year, but planning to go again next June. Clive, Many memories of flying Northern Manitoba in my early working days, in one of these and also in the Otter! Probably one good reason I'm deaf today!!!

I see a cannon so here's another one in Fort George, Niagara that dates back to the war of 1812 when it was defending Upper Canada against American attacks - hopefully we won't be needing it again!
