Anyone else using this combination? I have tried several of the alternative camera apps for my iPhone 7. Depending on the settings, you can get HEIC, of course, JPG, DNG, and TIFF. I did a series of test photos and at 200%, there are some differences in sharpness and graininess. But, to my old eyes, not something outstanding. Does any of this make a real difference when the largest print I make is an 8.5x11 composite? Or make any real difference in an 8x10 print?
I do note that TIFF, HEIC, and JPG are brought straight from Organizer into Editor. DNG go to ACR first, so there is extra step in the workflow.
Extra note: I did go for the 2020 upgrade. It seems to handle HEIC much better. Might be a bit quicker too.
SO, if there is someone else using this combination and wants to "discuss" by private EM, I would like to do so.
Further note: I usually find more information on this site than anywhere else. Thanks in advance, Charles J
