Just released by Topaz for Mac & PC computers this new product effectively ends their policy of free upgrades to Topaz products with the following justification: " Since we’ve built Mask AI from the ground up to include significantly more powerful technology, this is a new application rather than an update to ReMask."Existing Topaz Remask owners instead are offered are "special" discount price of $49.99 until the end of November. x (x)

Pete, thanks for the heads-up! I have Topaz ReMask; on my way to get the discount.

this new product effectively ends their policy of free upgrades to Topaz products I think it is a bit mixed. I was able to up upgrade Adjust to Adjust AI, DeNoise to DeNoise AI, and Sharpen to Sharpen AI all for free. However, you can't upgrade DeJPEG to JPEG to Raw AI, just like you can't upgrade ReMask to Mask AI.

I installed Mask AI on two computers. The only glitch was with the plug-in installer. It "found" PS CC and earlier compatible PSE versions but not PSE 2020. I had to do a copy/paste job in this version.

Topaz is offering a webinar on Mask AI tomorrow. I had hoped to watch but have another commitment. If anyone gets to attend, I would love to hear some feedback.

It looks like Adobe will be coming out soon (next month?) with something similar in terms of a new AI masking/selection tool for Photoshop. A "sneak peek" demo video of it can be viewed here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Qm5nS2PMBs x (x)

If history repeats itself, Adobe should be releasing Photoshop 2020 during their Max--Creativity Conference at the beginning of November.

You're welcome! However, I'm wondering if the latest from Photoshop might put a spoke in Topaz's Mask AI wheel!

Thanks again, Angela. I have to say that it isn't performing how I expected it might, but as the presented indicated in the webinar, perhaps future updates will bring it up to the level of other Topaz AI products. I am very pleased with Gigapixel and have heard good things about Sharpen AI.

Pete, History does repeat itself; Photoshop CC 2020 has been released. (New version installed, getting ready to take this tool for a test drive.) Photoshop CC 2020 Has Arrived
