Reports are beginning to appear concerning problems when installing 3rd-party plug-ins in Photoshop CC 2020 (November update). As of this writing, . . . .
Filter Forge 8 & Beta 9
Problem:
An error message pops up.
This plug-in crashes.
Solution:
Use the standalone version instead.
The official v.9 to be released before the end of the year will address this issue.
ON1 Photo RAW 2020 (Mac Only)
Problem:
Plug-ins not appearing (missing).
Solution:
Do a manual installation following these instructions.
Topaz Studio 2
Problem:
An error message pops up.
This plug-in freezes.
PS CC 2020 stops responding.
Solution:
Use the standalone version instead.
Topaz Tech Support looking into it.
Update:
Topaz released a new installer. Problems solved. The plug-in version now works as it should. -- topazlabs.com/downloads/
