I will truly miss Craig. I was surprised by how strongly this announcement hit me.
He and I only very recently learned that we are both musicians. That made me realize how qualitatively different virtual acquaintances are from "real life" ones. Facets of our lives that would come out as a matter of course often remain hidden in the virtual world. I wish we had had a chance to meet.

I can only imagine how difficult this must be for Craig’s family and friends. His work behind the scenes at the forum was not known to our members but appreciated by the administrators. A man of few words…..when spoken they often brought us to attention. He will be missed.

This is very distressing news indeed. Craig did much to help establish and get this this forum off the ground when Elements Village folded. If I remember correctly, the logo for the forum was designed by Craig and voted for by members. Despite the tough guy marine drill instructor avatar image he really was a nice guy, helpful to members and will certainly be missed.

Craig was a private person, not too many words, but he was very active behind the scenes as well as on the open forum. He was level-headed, a solid pillar of our community. I will truly miss him. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.

Although I did not know Craig, I am sorry to see that one of our Elements family will not be here any more. My prayers to his family.

Thank you Andy for taking good care of this sad announcement of the sudden passing of Craig Schiller. My sincere condolences to the family and friends, and to the administrators who came to know him more closely by working with him on the other side of the screen we friendly share. I have met Craig through his Major Major avatar, as a kind and constructive contributor. He was always eager to help and coordinated numerous periodic features. On many occasions, he came forward to promote respect and inclusion as part of the fundamental values he had foreseen for PSE&M. On May 4th this spring, in the Forum Announcements board, he proudly wrote a post entitled “4 Years Ago Today”, expressing his view that since then “we've grown into a vibrant and popular community” and his appreciation towards “everyone who has contributed here, or just been along for the ride”. He concluded with the following words: “Here's to the next 4 years!!”. We will do our best to honour his memory.

I have not been an active member of this PSE&M forum, but I did see how active he was here. He will be missed.
