Hi everyone
We are all a bit down after learning of Major Major's passing. So sad.
I got out a few times this week and took a few snapshots, so decided to share a few with you. I hope they brighten your day.

Black-capped chickadees ... top two photos....both in the river valley..we rarely see them at home
House finch shot out of our sitting room window a few days ago...the snow has since melted.
Mule deer buck photographed on Thursday Nov 14 at our summer place. This is why Photoshop is so important. This buck was backlighted and the body had to be brought out in ACR and PSE.
Two winters ago a male pheasant started coming into our yard from the
park across the road. It or they eat spilled sunflower seeds from the bird feeders. This one showed up a few days ago and may or may not be the same one as last winter. Anyway, I looked out the bedroom window a couple of days ago and it was perched on our backyard fence. Also photographed through double-pane window.
Porcupine in the river valley. They rate high on the "weirdness scale."
Snowshoe hare also in the river valley. This one has not turned white yet. ISO 2,500 .. was a dull day and it was in bush.
