We had no snow for a few days...was brown again. Then they forecast 2 to 5 cm two days ago. What do the met office people know? About 15 to 18 cm fell.
Had a nice walk this afternoon in the river valley: sunny and suitably warm. There has been zero wind since the snow fell so it hung in the trees and bushes.
