Happy Holidays! I know this can be a hectic time of year, so I offer you this fun challenge to get really creative by creating a hybrid animal. Here is one I did combining a sheep and an eagle to make a sheegle! (images are from Pixabay)
This written tutorial says it is for Photoshop, but Elements will do just fine. All you will be doing is selecting a piece of one image and making it a layer in another file. Then it is a matter of using transform to get the size right, then saturation and levels to match the values. Finish up with detail work to make the join look natural. Here is a page with additional examples and tips to see what is possible and additional tips. I am so looking forward to see your hybrid animals!

Well done Frank! You got the join and scale just right; very believable.

TOM! Please remove this thread! Kidding, but I fear for my week's productivity. WAY too much fun. Thanks. Along the lines of the bald-headed eagle, this is a bald headed gopher. Possibly a balfer.

That was fun although I'm going to have to work a bit harder on the blending - but here's a start on a hare-headed gull Tony
