Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Nearly New Nighty. This bone idle creature went to bed at 11pm last night, and didn't get up until 10.45am today.

N is for nightNot much of an arty guy, but this is a lovely poem. We live in a pampered world but this reminds us of harder times. I imagine a cowboy on a horse in the foothills trying to get back to camp with snow about. The spruce trees are across the road from our house and lighted by a street light. Photographed last night: f1.4, ISO 200 and 4-second exposure...which I could not do this evening because of the wind.

My "N" is for "No-go Area". After all the rain we have had, I didn't risk walking in the countryside today, but even this urban footpath had its impassable flooded patch - ankle deep in the middle! i.ibb.co/zGnVK8g/Rain.jpgBrenda

One more - N is for New shoots. In this case new garlic shoots growing from a whole garlic sitting with its roots in water. This is after a week - they should start to be harvestable after another week or so. Very tasty! This was also taken using a Nikon macro lens on a Fuji camera with a very simple adaptor (also New) - the camera and lens don't talk to each other so focussing is manual and setting aperture is guesswork but it seems to work Tony

Brenda Brenda, what a finding! Great use of leading lines and vanishing point in your composition, drawing our eyes into the image.

Great job capturing the texture details of the new shoots!
