Both nice. My preference is the top one with the mistletoe in the lower right...seems more balanced to me. But is the year correct? Two thousand twenty twentyThe new Judyan calendar? Clive

I like the second version. “Balance” issues can be solved by lowering and editing the text (adding more lines by putting some text -like the names - on its own line) and by leaving more space around horizontal embellishment.

Oh I agree. This was just a fun thing to do with the freebie flowers & leaves png files I had downloaded. Nothing serious or for show other than here. They were part of the files I got from Design Cuts.

It starts with 'fun things' and ends up as an all consuming hobby - I can see it now. At least I hope that for you. Designing stuff like this has been my joy for more than 15 years.

Been busy and haven't had time and it's near zero to go out with my camera so I thought I would try using some of the freebie png files from Design Cuts. A mock up of an invitation...two different versions. Fun!! Judy, three words -- classic, elegant, simple. Great job! And, if anyone is interested in getting "stuff" from Design Cuts, this site was added to our Digital Scrapbooking Kits, Papers, Embellishments, etc. thread.

I don't need anymore hobbies....plus I would have to run spell & date check through Clive and I don't think he will be happy about that! And thank you Sepiana!

I know you are joking about spell check - but I have found a sure fire way of spell and other error checking. I use my layout as the desktop photo on my computer. Each time I turn the computer on, I get a chance to have a fresh look at my work. It really works.

Judy, if you still have Photoshop, this program will be more than happy to lend a helping hand. Edit>Check Spelling . . . and PS will check the spelling of your visible Text layers.
