In personal messages, I notice that any new message within a 'conversation' has the older message at the top and subsequent newer messages as I scroll down.
Is there a way of swapping this so that, within a conversation, the newest message will show at the top, please?
Many thanks

I don't think so, but I'll let the real structure gurus step in here and give you a real answer.
But in the meantime, this is a change that I believe would have to be made globally (if it is at all possible) - it may be that some people like it as it is.

Are you meaning it would also involve changing the Forum posts? If so, I wouldn't want that to be the case It's only within personal messages that I'm asking about. I agree, I don't know that it would be a very popular idea if the forum threads were displayed newest first

No, I'm just talking about personal messages. What I meant is that if the change were possible, it might not be available as a setting for individual users - it might have to be applied globally.

I am reading this on Tapatalk and the messages there read the other way - from new down to old, but each message is separate ie not as conversations.

OK, I understand now. Thanks I was hoping there might be an individual setting that I hadn't found It's certainly not a big issue

The messges are newest to the top but in a long 'thread', ie conversation, the new posts are at the bottom. So, I have to scroll down to find the new one. The particular 'conversation' I am thinking of has 14 posts, all on one page so I have to scroll right down to find the new one. It's not a huge issue but I wondered if there was a setting whereby a member could make a choice as to how the conversation was displayed.

It appears this cannot be changed within ProBoards.
However..... - If you click on the "New" button next to a thread, it will take you to the first new post since you last visited - If you click in the whitespace under the "Last Post" column (don't click the member's name) it will take you to the last post in that thread (this works for PM's as well).
