Sometimes you have a font that you love, but despite using bold, it just doesn't look like you want it to - it doesn't have enough presence. Duplicate your text layer, move that layer over one pixel (use arrow keys on your keyboard) If that's not thick enough, duplicate it again and move that layer over. You can try with more than one pixel and you might come up with something you like, but if you move it too far, it distorts your text by making the letters infringe on the other letters. You can try it with different color layers... You can move your layer down one pixel... Your success will depend on how many pixels you move it and which font you use.

I've had this very problem with bold not being bold enough. Yes, would look good with different color layers. Great tip! Thanks.
