We (and by "we," I mean my wife 
) are slowly going through some boxes of dad's stuff. This old yellowish photo is of my uncle Harry (on left) taken somewhere in the USA: probably Washington state and probably the 50s. I showed a scan to my cousin in Oregon who had never seen it before and he was pleased to see it. I mailed him the original print and emailed a print file sized to 8 by 12 inches of the cleaned up photo. It took a couple of hours to clean up and is far from perfect. The basic technique was simple, i.e. fussy cloning.
