looking for some comments - All are welcome. The majority of letters are spray painted alphabet pasta, dropped on a book. The image was finished in topaz studio. Thanks in advance.

Very creative, like words flying off the page! I'd like to see some faint drop shadows on some of those letters, but maybe that's not possible if they are all on the same layer. I also like the burnished look of the corners and the stormy looking sky brewing in the background. It's a great image, loads of room for interpretation. What was your inspiration?

An interesting image and I'm guessing it took some time to create. I really like the idea and the aged look of the book. My initial thoughts are that the shape of the flow of letters might look too orderly. I am thinking some might be tumbling further to the side when they hit the book, some perhaps falling in front of the book, some caught up in the binding. I like Jacki's suggestion for some shadows. I'lll keep thinking on it. I think we all learn from this kind of post. Thanks for creating it.

I love it! What was your inspiration and more importantly to me, what was the set up? How many attempts? I would try to put some letters on different layers and perhaps spell some words to jump off the pages. All kinds of possibilities, but I LOVE it!

Thanks for the comments.
The setup was an old book placed in a Lightbox lights on each side. The Camera was on a tripod with a flash at its lowest setting. Black spray painted alphabet pasta was dropped from above the book with additional text added randomly. It is made up of 7 images.
I replaced the background with a sky in Luminar 4, and finished it in Topaz Studio 2 with a custom look that I had created.
It started out being a donut having spinkles dropped on it, but I ate the donut. This may have worked out better.

Thanks for the info, I keep thinking about making my own lightbox set up. For my hot chocolate photo I started out with more marshmallows than I ended up with. Hmmm, don't know how that happened.... Very creative and you have inspired me.
