New forums can be frustrating and confusing - especially if you are used to the format of things like Facebook. This format is very different, but in my opinion, so much better.
I suggest you spend some time just clicking around. Try every button and see where it takes you.
There is a section "About Our Forum" that may provide some of the answers you need. However, feel free to use this thread to post specific questions and I'm sure you'll get the answers you need.

I still don't know if I did my introduction right, or where I could find it to add more me. And how can I correct the part I wrote wrong under where my photo should be. No, I won't post a photo of me, but I may post something else. Do I do that in the introduction place too? Confused, but getting there. Takes awhile with short term memory loss!! TB

Hi TB , this is exactly where introductions are done, so good job! To change the text under your avatar, click the Profile button on the main menu, then Edit profile, and finally Personal. Near the bottom you will see a text box that you can change to whatever you like.

Thank you, will give it a try. Memory loss is hard to deal with. I had to copy down your instruction, because when I do it, I won't remember any of this. Before I closed this, I did find the post (I hope) I am replying to. You indicated: to correct under avatar to go to the main menu (where is that), click Profile etc. It is extremely hard when memory fails you and there is only 'now'. I'll get better, I promise. The more I do the better I'll get, so just keep helping me struggle along. And a great big THANKS. I read somewhere that all caps is like screaming. I put all caps because I feel so grateful for all help I get from all sources. I also give help whenever I am able to. TB

I'm over 90 and well down the dementia road. I forget how to do the simplest things that I've done dozens of times but the folks here at PSE&M are so kind and helpful and patient with me. I'd be lost without them. Keep trying and I'm looking forward to seeing some of your work. Berie

A belated Welcome, TB. Like you and Berie, my memory leaves much to be desired. But, I have always kept notes. These days, they are more than ever. I even keep paper and pencil in my bathroom.
