ATTENTION!!! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are facing extraordinary circumstances in our lives which may limit our photographic endeavors. Therefore, the same theme -- Name Your Theme -- will be posted every Monday for a while. This will give our members more leeway to shoot a subject for this challenge without worrying about social distancing.
Keeping shooting but . . . be safe and stay healthy!Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTE
I am assigning no theme this week. It is your turn! Pick a theme which appeals to you, grab your camera, and capture something which will be an interpretation of the theme you chose. Also, let us know what your theme is and how your image relates to it. Have fun!

We needed a bit of brightness and our hibiscus, that has been living inside and looking a little sad all winter, suddenly decided to come back into flower so is now brightening up the kitchen! So brightness is my theme and hope we have more soon. Tony

Listen up class, today's lesson is on a PHYSICS theme, specifically today we will discuss Bernoulli's Principle. There will a test on this tomorrow. Any qvechuns?
Daniel Bernoulli. 29 January 1700 – 17 March 1782, was a Swiss mathematician and physicist and was one of the many prominent mathematicians in the Bernoulli family. He is particularly remembered for his applications of mathematics to mechanics, especially fluid mechanics, and for his pioneering work in probability and statistics. His name is commemorated in the Bernoulli's principle, a particular example of the conservation of energy, which describes the mathematics of the mechanism underlying the operation of two important technologies of the 20th century: the carburetor and the airplane wing. Vines I have walked by this for years and one day about a month ago I actually saw it. Figured I better snap a pic before the quarantine. Not sure what to do with it, but I loved the green vent and all the textures. i.ibb.co/ZzZjWVx/IMG-0270.jpg

Staying with the Physics theme. This time, it's Newton's First Law of Motion.

Bill, you raised your photography to another level with your choice of theme. This is an image that draws our attention by focusing on the times we are in. This is an image to be kept for posterity!

Helen, a theme that is pleasing to the eyes and . . . to the taste buds. We all need comfort food (especially now).

My theme for this week is "Desert Walk About" Pete, your theme worked well with the "mini-gallery" posting. It emphasizes the walk about aspect of the theme.
