How about finally reading the remaining 900 Pages of "War and Peace" ? That applies to just about anyone that ever picked up a book; I started it years ago and probably had a lot more than 900 pages to go when I got busy and gave up. Old Tolstoy or whoever the guy was probably knew nobody would ever get much farther than that and the next few hundred pages may just be the same pages over and over.

If the wife didn't tell me all of this was going on, I would probably not have known anything was amiss. Last summer and fall, I took tens of thousands of photos, with dozens of people expecting me to hand them a finished DVD or two as if all I had to do was turn on the computer and walk away. On several occasions, I took as many as two thousand photos in a single day. Needless to say, I am a bit behind in my editing; so, I have plenty to keep me occupied.
Three big annual events that I look forward to like a kid looks forward to the circus have already been cancelled, so that is a couple thousand less images to add to the pile.
I am not at all gregarious; I can go for weeks without seeing or hearing a soul and it won't bother me in the least.
I have plenty outside work that needs doing, but some of it requires a trip to the building supply or such so I just let it slide; if I get this bug, it won't be because I have had my head up in somebodies face.
Now the wife, on the other hand, she is about to go crazy, and she gets out and goes somewhere every day. Her parents are both sick enough with non-Corona problems that they would both be in the hospital in normal times; as it is, they are at their home and the wife stays with them every day and has to run drug-store and grocery errands for them almost every day; and, even at that, she has about the worst case of cabin fever that I have ever seen.
I have sat in truck cabs in big snow-drifts for days at a time, with the heater on full blast and ice forming inside the windows, sucking on icicles and listening to my guts growling; it always could be worse.

Just tried counting the bristles on my electric toothbrush. It's impossible even with a magnifying glass..... Try counting them without the toothbrush running. It was easier for me that way... still needed the magnifying glass, however.

BuckSkin, you made me laugh out loud all by my isolated self. I don't know anybody else who could have thought that one up. Only in Kentucky!
I needed that. Thank you!

Glad I could put a smile on your face; seriously though, have any of us ever checked to see whether it is true ? I don't know a human alive who has read half-way through, let alone the whole book.

You don't look as though you need a toothbrush, xair. That's not a recent picture. It was taken decades ago!! I'm not nearly as handsome now.

This is from Printique (formerly Adorama)
That "formerly Adorama" bit caught my attention. Is the big camera supply business, Adorama, no more ?

Adorama is alive and well. Thanks for that. Of all the many online suppliers I have dealt with, good old Adorama has always impressed me most with quick shipping and the safest packaging and always receiving exactly what I thought I should with no bad surprises. It sort of frightened me when I saw that "formerly" bit.
