Thanks Judy. Some good ideas especially the "scanning old photos" suggestion. I could clean my office, but that always seems pointless because it is cluttered again within about 17 minutes. My problem is an abject lack of ambition. I kept "busy" yesterday, but in reality accomplished little of importance except in a negative way when I inadvertently formatted that external hard drive. Oh ... I did make a delicious sweet-and-sour, pineapple pork dish for dinner .. the first time I've actually used a recipe in a decade or more. It was first rate. Everyone be well. Clive

I keep telling myself to drag out old thumb drives and ehd's and go through them. I know it won't take long but it's a task I seem to avoid.

Still haven’t ordered my new Mac. Don’t have a clue why.

...well Day 10 and I'm going crazzzy. Just tried counting the bristles on my electric toothbrush. It's impossible even with a magnifying glass.....
...just sayin......

Judy, thanks for starting this thread! The suggestion to scan one's old photos hit home. Now it is the perfect time to fire up my scanner, bring out my old copy of Eismann's Photoshop Restoration & Retouching, and . . . get busy.

I should do the same, but after fielding emails and phone calls all week, ugh. I hear that Sunday is going to be a wash out so maybe...

Now it is the perfect time to fire up my scanner, bring out my old copy of Eismann's Photoshop Restoration & Retouching, and . . . get busy. This was my plan when I had just learned to use PSE2 about 19 years ago. After doing the first 50 or so pictures, I calculated that it would take me about 20 years to finish the job. Now if I had stuck to it, I would be almost finished.

You folks are hilarious. Note to self: count toothbrush bristles. I read one post somewhere about a guy (jokingly) complaining because one bag of rice had 17,375 kernels and a second bag had 18,045 kernels. I've been doing my dad's estate stuff (THE BANK IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE?!?! Seriously bank?) and helping my son and DIL with their business plans. Took a bazillion photos last week but none after Monday's Shoot-O-Rama. How many sane people take 796 photos in one afternoon? I rebuilt the gate lock on the back yard gate as it was broken. Everyone be well. Clive Sunset a couple of days ago.
