Thanks Helen. Northern pintails. March 23, 2020. Stafford Lake about 12 minutes from our home. The light was awful when I took this, so had to bring up the duck bodies.

A mallard drake. March 28, 2020, on "my" ponds across the road this afternoon. Lovely light...some nice reflected light off the ice onto the lower body and face. (Yes, the ice formed again on the ponds a couple of weeks ago. Will take many days like today to disappear again..could be a while.)

What would I do without "my" ponds across the roads? On Sunday evening there was a nice Chinook Arch in the western sky. Just before sunset last night, there was magical light and so I wandered across the road and got lined up with the sun and pond. Good thing I was wearing Muck™® boots (aka, fancy Wellies or rubber boots ) as I had to walk into the cattails to be in the 'right" place. This photo is more glamour than actual photography technique. Shot as raw with WB set at daylight which warms the scene; however there were no saturation or vibrance adjustments. There was a fine fine "drizzle mist" in the air which helped disperse the sunlight...something like that. Be well!
