Second photo from "A Walk at the Farm" is my dog, Miley. He's a challenge because he never stops running when we are out there, except to sniff out a hole or mark a post to stake out his territory. Rick, great job! Miley gave you a challenge and you met it; you captured him in motion. The expression on his face says it all. He is having fun!

My theme for this week has to be Rainbows for Health Workers. Schoolchildren's rainbow drawings hung on this school gate express support for the National Health Service and offer advice and encouragement in this time of crisis. So heartening to see. Dennis Dennis, great choice of theme, one that elicits an emotional response. One of the drawings says it all -- "Every Thing is going To Be Okay". And that child is right!

My theme was to create a still life base to be used with textures. Helen, interesting take on Name Your Theme -- a still life base for texture application. Great thinking out of the box!

whippet, great choice of theme. You did capture a variety of trees; some seem to be showing signs of life. Spring is here!

And a 3rd entry from "A Walk at the Farm". Rusty Nail (not the cocktail ) Rick, you got a winner here with your choice of subject. Beautiful shot! Hang it on the wall!

Didn't have to go far to get these bird shots - they were taken out of the bedroom window. First is a grackle - my wife isn't fond of them as they scare off other birds and eat voraciously the bird seed she puts out. Normally they just look black but on a sunny day like today they do get quite colourful with an iridescent blue head and a bronze body. A common woodpecker around here is the red-bellied. An odd name for it as although it has a bit of red on its belly it's mainly red on the head - but the red-headed name had already been taken by another woodpecker. This one is a female - you can tell from her having less red on the head than the male .. Tony Tony, these are two well-composed, sharp shots, with spot-on focus. Great job capturing these two birds!
