Note: I deleted my original post as I got this figured out now. I wanted to learn how to make interactive 360° photos. Perhaps click here first to see what I am talking about
This is our street today, April 1, 2020. Pay special attention to all of the Global Warming happening. It is not possible to embed the interactive file into PSEM .. unless someone knows a way. It has to be viewed on the Kuula platform. To make the final product I used kuula.co/The steps for this specific image were as follows: - I took 30 portrait images of our street starting at our house and ending there.
- The images were done by shooting 15 images on two levels: down, up, over, down, over, up etc 15 X 2
- I shot mid-sized jpegs and then resized the images to 1,000 pixels wide. (Kuula has a dimension limit so there is no sense in using huge files)
- Using MS ICE a pano was made...it stitches grid images vs just linear panos. That make sense? The image was 15 wide by 2 high.
- The result was resized as described with the samples below.
- The 8,000 by 4,000 pixel image was then upload to Kuula.
- I added the text because April Fools Day here is a cruel joke.
Kinda fun and I see some possible applications. BTW, real estate agents use this and similar programs to show house interiors. Original out of ICEI cloned in the rough top and bottom edge and then resized the width to 8000 pixels. And changed the canvas size to 4000 pixels tall because Kuula requires a 2:1 W by H ratio
