,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,for making comments in the "Individual Gallery" I'm doing something wrong compared to others.

Dick....you can't comment on an image directly from the latest gallery posts. You have to click the name of the users gallery in red. That takes you to that person's gallery. Once there click the comment tab top right. This opens up the comment under the image. Not exactly sure where your problem was....hope this helps. Otherwise could you explain what's not working for you.

aha! I was having the same problem and just now realized from Helen's wording that I had clicked on the Comment box at the top right and thought nothing had happened........when it fact, a tiny little comment box opened right under the image I was trying to comment on. Maybe that happened to you too Dick?

I was doing it in reverse,,,,,,,,,,,thats why I have trouble with computers. The computer language is the action first then the description of the action,,,,,,,,,,,,I think the other way around, ie: See the fox run,,,,, not,,,, run,see the fox  dick |

Well, that's not a problem on your part dick; I think it is a poorly labelled button. The Comment button maybe should be labelled Add Comment and the Add Comment button labelled OK or something like that, then I think this would have never come up!

Okay, got it. I wasn't seeing the comment box. Hey Tom - is there any way to make that element more prominent? I don't think so, at least not on our end. The plugin itself would have to be updated. The problem in my mind is that the Comment button is at the top, whereas the comment box is below the image, which often means not visible. Let me talk with the developer and see what she thinks. |
