OK.....so my thought was that all of these things could wake you up if you were sleeping. A bit lame I know. I was remembering how when my youngest daughter took her nap she was invariably woken up by the near-by church bells. With a restaurant (which is yet to open this year) across the street late summer nights are often plagued by thundering motorcycles. And finally, aren't roosters often blamed for early morning wake-up?
So I hand the baton to a better puzzle creator.
