So I hand the baton to a better puzzle creator. Oh, don't sell yourself short, I think your puzzle was great and given your explanation it all makes perfect sense.

Helen, I think it's a good puzzle. What makes it difficult is that the rooster is merely implied.

Using Stocksolo I came up with this one..... Happy Father's Day to all the Dads!

Does this have to do with weaving or plaiting...the hair is plaited/braided, the shoes are plaited/woven as is the baskets! Not sure how Father's Day comes into it though.

You are correct, Lillias. My theme was things that are woven. Happy Father's Day was just my parting thought.....not related to to the puzzle.

Thanks Helen. I had to think about this one for quite a while as it didn't immediately come to me. Good puzzle.

An attempt to wake up our sleepy forum......but think probably too easy. Images from Pixabay Being this hasn't been posted in awhile.......to solve the puzzle you need to tell how these three things are related......

Helen.
I am going with strings or wires common to all three photos. Piano strings, puppet strings and wires supporting the lamps.

Please tell me that it took you longer than two minutes to figure that out! It was strings.....the last one was strings of lights. Up to creating the next one, pontiac1940?

Please tell me that it took you longer than two minutes to figure that out! Not really. I quickly looked at your post an hour or two earlier but never gave it any thought. Then came back to PSEM and visited "new posts" and when I saw it, it was just there bouncing about in my vacant mind. Strings. Sure, let me snoop around the image folders.

Your's are never two-minute guesses! Have been mulling this around for awhile.....the only thing I can think of is tubular?

Not tubular Helen. Hint #1 Think beyond the actual descriptions. Hint #2 There is one key word in the descriptions that should lead you to the solution.
